Starbud Strain Information

These elongated, porous buds from Starbud are covered in shimmering trichomes, like small oily stars filled with beneficial cannabinoids. They have a scent resembling black pepper coated in sugar, and when ignited, these indica-dominant buds (75% indica/25% sativa) have a flavor of cracked black pepper and honey. This strain was awarded Best Indica at the ICMag’s 420 Cup in 2009 and also won at the High Times Cannabis Cup’s Indica Cup in 2011.

According to laboratory tests, Starbud has a potency range of 14-20% THC, making it slightly above average. The effects of Starbud initially cloud the mind and senses, leading to a heavy couch-lock sensation as it gradually relaxes the body. It is recommended for managing chronic and traumatic pain, inflammation, fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis, insomnia, restlessness, and loss of appetite. While it is best suited for evening or nighttime use, experienced users may be able to tolerate it during the day.

The most common side effect of Starbud is dizziness, although some individuals may experience dry mouth or anxiety as well.
